Awesome family owned business. Tried it out for the first time today. They were almost sold out of tamales so I grabbed whatever they had left. They were warm, delicious, flavorful, and not dry. I also purchased some donuts and my baby really enjoyed their brownie. The ladies who work there and who I believe to be a manager or owner were very kind and looked happy to work there. I was informed of their other location in Franklin park which is bigger in size and has activities like decorating cookies etc. for children. Check this place out!

I love this place so much they deserve all your service. They speak to you as if you're family and their food and bread is delicious. Also they let me sample their horchata iced coffee today. So good. The espresso machine is really doing its job! I love the tamales and pan dulce. I go often because my American boyfriend loves Mexican sweat bread. Thank you hardworking ladies in the front counter 😋

Love this bakery! My favorites are the tamales (chicken, pork & rajas y queso), tres leches cake slice (glad they started selling slices instead of only the whole cake) & their muffins. The tamales are really big, tasty & always fresh. The tres leches cake is fluffy & moist with yummy whipped cream & the perfect level of sweetness. They also have a lot of cookies, breads, eclairs, cannolis & other baked goods. Prices are reasonable and service is friendly and fast. I also buy their products at the La Grange Farmers Market and the Brookfield Farmers Market.
My dad’s favorite place to come for some bread and hot chocolate after work, i used to wonder why he only bought hot chocolate from there till I gave in to try a cup ☕️😋
We bought a Rosca. They make them fresh here with fresh ingredients. Come support local small businesses. Price reflects on medium Rosca $35. The one in picture is a small one.
freaking love it! There is more to this place than just a bakery. You get that home feeling. I love it. The cookies are phenomenal and I’m sure their cakes were just as good. They have the chocolate cake slices that are scrumptious.
I love that they have conchas both with or without canela in the bread. With canela are my favorite! The tamales (red pork) used to be my favorite in town but not sure if something subtle changed or I ate them so much that I think that they went to great to good now. Either way, they are still worth a try, if you haven't yet.
These are the best tamales you could ask for. Anytime I introduce my family or friends to them they fall in love. I just had their chorizo torta and it is amazing! Seriously, best torta ever.
